You may be surprised to learn what is considered a "health crisis" today. Maybe you do not believe it to be true. Whether you agree that this is an epidemic or not, you cannot ignore the fact that it is impacting the world today at an increasingly fast pace.
Am I talking about a disease? Am I referring to the Opioid crisis? Or, am I addressing something entirely different? What we are seeing is that simple isolation is the hidden and silent crisis of our day. Social media certainly has a voice in this epidemic. The great and tragic irony of social media is that it is something which promotes connectedness and relationships, but it can actually serve to advance this silent epidemic at warp speed.
Please join us for an Equip Night on Wednesday, March 6th as we talk about the invisible crisis of loneliness, isolation, and disconnectedness that affects all of us in some way. This will be a night that benefits all ages. Children’s ministry will be provided and students are invited to be a part of the evening as well. Make plans to attend with your family, Lifegroup, neighbors, and friends. We hope this event will benefit our church family and our community.
