The FREDs Distribution Site (677 W E U.S. Hwy 19E Bypass) needs volunteers Monday-Saturday from 9am-6pm to help sort and stock.
Old Burnsville Gym Closet (Old Burnsville School Road below the Library) needs volunteers with trucks or trailers to help clear out unusable clothing and eventually move those resources to Fred’s.
The West Yancey Fire Department could use volunteers Monday-Saturday from 9am-5pm to help sort and distribute supplies.
People can also learn about volunteer opportunities by calling the Yancey County Helene Relief Call Center at (828) 682-1883. The call center is open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.

BROOKSTONE CHURCH
Brookstone Church has a handful of campuses in the Asheville area.
We believe that Jesus came to build a Church that would overpower the forces of Hell and enlarge the Kingdom of God. We envision being that church!
In Hurricane Helene's wake, Brookstone Church supports our local communities by distributing necessary supplies and mobilizing teams to be sent out on mission.
