Express your worship, let your praise be heard, give Him thanks

"Come, let US sing to the Lord; let US make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let US come into his presence with thanksgiving; let US make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods."             Psalms 95:1-3

Praise be to our Lord!  All glory to God! Our desire as a church body is to do what the scriptures declare. As we assemble together whether it be for a Night of Worship or on our weekly Sunday services, Let US sing to the Lord!  Let US make a joyful noise to our ROCK with songs of praise!  Let US come into his presence with thanksgiving!  The Lord is GREAT!  We need to express our worship in this manner.  Express our worship of the Lord together.  Encourage one another in the faith. May we not neglect the posture of worship found also in Psalm 95 specifically verse 6, "Come let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our maker" Taking on the posture of physically kneeling is a healthy way to express humble surrender to the Lord as is lifting our hands. "So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands." Psalms 63:4.

Maybe you aren't comfortable with any of these ways to express your worship of the Lord.  That's ok, the Bible has other ways, you can STAND (Psalm 135:2), LAUGH (Psalm 126:2), CRY (Psalm 119:169), CLAP (Psalm 47:1)...

The point is, express your worship of the Lord and let it be heard! Psalm 66:8, "Bless our God, let the sound of his praise be heard."

I'll quote something I read recently, "Nothing will bring us into a consciousness of God's presence more quickly and deeply than praising Him and giving thanks to Him"

Psalm 92:1, "It is good to give thanks to the Lord to sing praises to your Name"

1 Corinthians 15:57, "Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus"

Whether it is a Night of Worship, a Sunday service, a living room Bible study, or driving down the road in your car.  Express your worship, let your praise be heard, give Him thanks!
