His heart was pounding. The introduction had begun. He took several deep breaths. “I can’t do this…I can’t do this.” His name was called, then applause. He knew the moment had arrived to step out into the lights and walk toward the podium, except his feet felt like they were carved out of heavy stone. Beads of sweat formed on his brow, panic set in. He felt paralyzed.
What fears tend to paralyze you? What does anxiety whisper in your ear? What does worry want you to believe about yourself, your situation, and your God?
These are questions fear requires us to answer, yet all of us already know the answer. So, what can we do about it?
