The Barker Family
The Barker kids (Josh and Mckaylyn) were invited by Matthew and Michael Way to Youth Culture. Josh and Mckaylyn immediately wanted to be plugged in and asked to be part of the YC worship team. The following week, the rest of the Barker family (Melissa, Seth, and Lydia) attended Brookstone after being out of church for several years. They went through Engage, and now call Brookstone their home church. Since joining, they have gone through We Share, attended LIFT classes, gone on mission trips with YC. Melissa is also now serving as a youth leader! The entire Barker family was able to be baptized together in the creek baptism.
Melany Banks
Chloe Buchanan invited Melany to Youth Culture. Melany has attended YC almost every week since being invited. She even went on the Fall Retreat, where she received Christ! It's amazing how God is using the younger generation to influence those around them!
Zack Saunooke
Zack was invited to Youth Culture while at his senior prom. He came with his friends on a Sunday night, and then got coffee with Pastor Sullivan and other students in Mars Hill the next day. The following Sunday morning, Zack prayed and gave his life to Christ and was baptized the next month!
