DESCRIPTION OF AGENCY
Camp Good News is a camp located in Fairview, North Carolina.We provide a week of summer camp for ages 7-16 throughout 7 weeks of the summer. Different age groups for different weeks. One of those weeks being day camp. Jesus Christ is the center of all we do. We are dedicated to reaching boys and girls with the gospel for the first time as well as helping those who know Jesus grow in their walk with Him. Camp Good News is a faith based ministry funded by God’s people. We provide a tuition free camp for kids to come whether it's summer camp or weekend camp throughout the year.
Alongside regular summer and weekend camps, we host counselor trainings, retreats, and other special events throughout the year!
VOLUNTEER PROCESS
All onboarding processes for camp volunteers can be started by emailing us their interest at camp4kidsnc@gmail.com or calling us at 828-628-7954. From there volunteers undergo background screening, face to face interview, and will receive training before working with campers. Anyone 13 years old and up can work at camp as long as they are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ first and foremost, have a passion for working with kids and teenagers, and enjoy being outdoors!

• 4+ Full Summer volunteers(6-7 weeks)
• John Deere gator or Toro utility vehicle
• Camp Van(s)
• Multi purpose building
• Board Members
AGENCY ANNUAL EVENTS
• Summer Camp
• Fall Advance, Winter Advance, and Spring Advance(Camp weekend retreats)
• Saturday Night Alive. Evening of camp events 2-4 times a year.
• Counselor Trainings once a month (Oct.-May)
